*We are a small farm in Gorham, Maine. *We raise free range chickens and sell the eggs to neighbors and friends. *We raise JACOB SHEEP! Spring lambs are on the way! Wool for sale.
There's an article in our little local paper that comes in the mail every Wednesday here in Las Vegas and it is talking about a chicken coup tour this next week. Pretty funny. I've been talking to my husband about getting a few chickens someday soon and then I found this article and followed a few links to here. I don't think my husband is into the chickens, though. (not yet) Someone in the neighborhood has chickens. We can hear a rooster and one day found a chicken pecking around under my husband's truck that looked like these chickens. I was curious what kind these are. Are they Rhode Island Reds, or did I just make that up? I am from Maine myself, though I haven't lived there in years. Miss it.
